Policies

Return and Cancellation Policy

Because computers are assembled, tested and often configured for a specific customer, returns are limited. This policy does not reduce rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Effective July 14, 2026

Completed PCs from available inventory

  • The buyer may inspect and test the computer at the appointment before completing the handoff.
  • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted after handoff.
  • A verified material hardware defect or material mismatch with the listing reported within 3 calendar days may qualify for return review, repair, replacement or refund.
  • The system must be returned with the included accessories and without customer modifications, damage or missing parts.

Custom builds

  • Custom builds are final after the approved system is completed and accepted, except for covered defects or material deviations from the approved quote.
  • Cancellation before parts are ordered normally receives a refund of the deposit.
  • After parts are ordered, any refund is reduced by nonreturnable parts, supplier charges and documented restocking costs.

Repair and upgrade services

  • Labor and diagnostic services are not returnable after they are performed.
  • Problems caused by the work performed may be reviewed under the workmanship warranty.
  • Customer-supplied parts remain subject to the seller or manufacturer’s return terms, not The Tech Bench return policy.

How to request review

Email tb@thetechbench.co with the invoice or system name, a description of the issue and photographs or video when useful. Do not continue using a system if doing so could cause additional damage.

These policies describe the standard process and do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. A written listing, invoice or quote may include additional terms for a specific transaction.
