Reservation, Pickup and Shipping Policy
Local appointment-only pickup is the standard handoff method. Shipping is not the default and is considered only when approved for a specific transaction.
Effective July 14, 2026
Completed-PC reservations
- A $50 reservation deposit normally holds an available completed PC for 48 hours after written confirmation.
- The deposit is applied to the purchase price.
- A reservation request alone does not hold a computer. The hold begins only after The Tech Bench confirms it and receives the required deposit.
- The deposit is refunded if The Tech Bench cancels, the computer becomes unavailable, or it materially differs from the confirmed listing.
- The deposit is normally non-refundable when the buyer cancels, misses the appointment without notice, or does not complete the purchase within the confirmed hold period.
Pickup appointments
- Pickup is available by appointment in Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas.
- The exact meeting location and time are shared after the reservation or build is confirmed.
- There is no public walk-in storefront or public residential pickup address.
- Contact The Tech Bench as early as possible to reschedule. A missed appointment may end the hold.
- The buyer may inspect and test the computer at handoff before completing the transaction.
Shipping
- Shipping may be considered case by case but is not guaranteed and is not currently the standard purchase process.
- When shipping is approved, packaging, insurance, signature requirements, cost, payment timing and return logistics are provided in writing before payment.
- Do not assume a listing can be shipped unless The Tech Bench confirms shipping for that exact computer.
These policies describe the standard process and do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. A written listing, invoice or quote may include additional terms for a specific transaction.
